The company

CodeSyntax is a young software company located in the Basque Country, Spain. We are dedicated to making the Internet a truly global experience through internationalization and localization services.

The process of adapting a product to a particular region is called LOCALIZATION and all the engineering behind it is known as INTERNATIONALIZATION. The combination of both processes is called GLOBALIZATION.

Our team is engaged in developing a number of services designed to adapt products developed in one country to meet the language, cultural, and business needs in others. We also specialize in devising and maintaining websites running in several languages, a clear need in multilingual regions such as the Basque Country, the home base of CodeSyntax.

We have experience in content management, collaborative news websites, community websites, corporate portals and intranets, and, particularly, designing and managing multilingual websites and localizing applications in different languages. We do IT-consulting, project management, application development and application service providing.

CodeSyntax also provides globalization consultancy to companies that need expert advice in order to compete globally or launch multilingual websites.

Zope, our platform of choice

CodeSyntax is one of the companies supporting the Zope Europe Association, the community of professionals and companies developing ZOPE in Europe.

ZOPE is our platform of choice, an open source web application server, suited perfectly to create and manage dynamic websites. Multilingual websites, of course, need to be dynamic by definition, and that's what we use ZOPE for.
