Gazta means cheese in Basque.

You might have already noticed that food is a crucial part of the Basque culture and lifestyle. Cheese is one of the pillars of our gastronomy, as it is for others, of course.

It takes a lot of time and effort to produce a handmade sheep milk cheese, just as much as coding a good project.

These three cheeses were made by Maider Unda and her family. Maider runs a sheep farm in the Basque mountains. She is also an Olympic freestyle wrestler.
